Deepsend Records Signs HUMILIATION

Malaysian war-themed death metal soldiers, Humiliation have signed a multi-album deal with Deepsend Records. Their as-of-yet untitled fourth album will be released in early 2013.

It should be no surprise the band warship at the tank known as Bolt Thrower. Musically, Humiliation focus on mid-tempo headbangers with heavy anthems of war, lack of humanity and minimal guitar solos. Humiliation's war has been waged and will continue on until all in their path have been destroyed or join their hellbrigade.

Even at the "Dawn of Warfare," the band will "Seek to Survive" marching "From Strength to Strength" to raise the Malaysian Death Metal Flag!!

Deepsend Records Signs ETERNAL REST

Deepsend Records announced the signing of Australia's ETERNAL REST. The label will release the band's debut album, Prophetic, in early 2013. The album was recorded and mixed by Joe Haley (Psycroptic).

Eternal Rest hail from Brisbane, Australia. The band's powerful energy can be heard on Prophetic, but must be experienced in a live stetting to be truly appreciated. This young band is surging forward with their excellently crafted heaviness from Down Under. Their brand of death metal is a mix of Immolation, Psycroptic and Martyr with a heavy dose of ass-kickery.

A pre-production recording of the track "Preaching the Decimation of Spheres" has been posted by the band at this location and below.

Eternal Rest have played with many national and international artists such as; The Black Dahlia Murder, Ulcerate, Sybreed, and Alchemist; to name a few. The future looks bright for these Aussies. Hellbent on making a mark alongside countrymen Psycroptic and Beyond Terror Beyond Grace, Eternal Rest's execution is unmatched.

Equal parts crushing and ferocious, maintaining a level of musicianship that should be applauded in a scene that's been saturated with technical nightmares and slow-plodding meh.

LAVATORY Signs With Pulverised Records

Pulverised Records announced the latest signing of Malaysian old-school Death Metallers LAVATORY!

With this Death Metall hellspawn in existence since 2010, LAVATORY recently released a five song EP entitled "Transgression" which firmly showcased the band's penchant for raw and disgusting Death Metal in the veins of EntombedCarcass and Dismember, etc. Plans are already underway to work on the LAVATORY's debut full-length album, promising to be the band's most defining piece of retch-crushing Death Metal yet.

States LAVATORY throat-slasher Muntah Ke Darah on the signing: "Well it's a dream come true for LAVATORY to sign with Pulverised as we are the first Malaysian band offered with this opportunity. Our next step after releasing a full-length with Pulverised Record is to plant the Malaysia and the Asia map into Europe and America territories. We hope our debut will open up the worldwide Metalheads' eyes on Asia."

Pulverised Records label manager Roy Yeo further commented: "LAVATORY caught us by complete surprise when we first heard them, and truth be told that there really isn't much bands in the South East Asia region paying tribute to the elder statesmen of Swedish Death Metal such as Entombed and Dismember! This sinister alliance between LAVATORY and Pulverised Records will prove to be an interesting yet lethal one indeed. We cannot wait to hear how they will pick up from where they left off with the "Transgression" EP, but something tells me that the new full-length album is going to be a mixture of sick, crushing and rotten Death Metal coming our way!"

Heartfelt folk metal is the prime priority of the seven musicians of Abinchova.

Lyrically, the band has dedicated themselves to the telling of old tales and myths, which are brought to you by fierce screams and classical women’s chant.

RABBITS’ Bites Rites release date 18 September via Good To Die Records; Whole stream for GTDR 2012 Compilation

After another session copulating into existence its latest batch of scathing buzzsaw riffery, Portland’s ravenous vermin RABBITS has completed its new noise. Bites Rites will invade the human population in the final days of Summer 2012, a release guaranteed to scurry more shit into your life than the loved/loathed 2011-released Relapse Records debut Lower Forms.

RABBITS’ latest intoxicated orgy of adrenalized lagomorphic chaos will see release this September via a recent infestation of Good To Die Records. On Bites Rites this obligate nasal-breathing collective of rhythm morticians  -- drummer KG and guitarists/vocalists Sethro and Booze -- ravenously gnaw through nine tracks, including demented covers of Spacemen 3's “2:35” and Husker Du's “What's Going On.” Yes, a Butthole Surfers, Melvins, Unsane or Buzzov*en reference may scuttle forth during the sonic bombardment of Bites Rites, yet a thoroughbred uniqueness abounds within each segment. Bites Rites was recorded and mixed by Fester at Haywire Studios, Portland, (Wizard Rifle, Atriarch, Nux Vomica) and mastered by Ryan Foster at Foster Mastering, Portland (Agalloch, Muslimgauze, Fishbone), with cover art by Sacramento artist Skinner (author of Every Man Is My Enemy) and drawings and titles by Portland artist Kevin Abell (co-editor of Nudity in Groups). Bites Rites will be released on 180-gram LP with included digital download delivery via Good To Die Records on September 18th.

Check out the cover art and more new RABBIT shit below.

An arsenal of U.S. tour dates will be announced shortly. For now locals can catch them raging in Portland alongside YOB, Thrones, Drunk Dad, as well as labelmates Gaytheist, Monogamy Party and more over the coming weeks.

RABBITS  shows:
9/02/2012 Plan B - Portland, OR @ Sizzlefest [benefit] w/ YOB, Thrones, many more [info]
9/08/2012 Tube [matinee] - Portland, OR w/ Fist Fite, Gaytheist, IX
9/28/2012 Slabtown - Portland, OR (RECORD RELEASE SHOW) w/ Hot Victory, Walls, Towers

What to do about this RABBITS problem?

We last heard from Portland's “noizefuck crew” [1000 Times Yes] with their first full-length LP, Lower Forms, “a thing of cracked-out, violent beauty” [Portland Mercury], “totally absurd... in the best possible way” [A.V. Club], and “everything I could possibly hate about a record rolled into one and then served on a piece of shit” [Angry Metal Guy]. To be fair to all, All Music Guide said “in time, one could see this making a lot more sense.”

RABBITS, however, prefers to make more non-sense. How else to explain the necessity of using multi-hyphenated permutations of punk, sludge, hardcore, thrash, noise, rock, and metal to describe RABBITS? Can this trio's casual disregard for all that is genre-proper be explained by anything more than ignorance, negligence, or downright maliciousness? Perhaps...

BITES RITES, the new record on Good To Die Records opens a deep portal into the mind of the superorganism that is RABBITS. And something in that mind is not right. Like many that came before them, with overnight success and worldwide fame came parties, booze, drugs, strippers, and the predictable descent into bitterness, jealousy, paranoia, and eventual madness. The toll taken is obvious in both the sound and substance of the new record. In a haze of booze and drugs RABBITS descended down into a Felony Flats basement with someone named Fester to ratchet up the sonic insanity and emerged with a platter of grisly fried guitars, machines-gone-awry drums (still no bass—how is it so HEAVY?!), and the vocals of a deranged lunatic backed by a Family-spawned youth crew. Long gone are the philosophical and scientific musings on man's place in the universe found on Lower Forms; it's now man against man, us against them, me against you.

And yet, the songs on BITES RITES are catchy! Listen and you may find yourself singing “LAME!” next time you run into your arch nemesis at a party, as you realize, “It is how much you suck it or how much you blow.” See if you can fight the unrelenting riff and roll of “Fight Right.” Don't be surprised when “Meth Valley 99”—a re-imagined Sonic Youth / Lydia Lunch classic with the lovely and dangerous Jonnie Monroe of Fist Fite as the female foil—makes you want to hit that pipe again.

Plus... RABBITS wears its not-metal hearts on its sleeves with demented covers of Spacemen 3's “2:35” and Husker Du's “What's Going On.” Maybe BITES RITES doesn't make exactly clear what's going on inside its head, but you may just want to follow RABBITS to the zoo anyway. [JH]

Exumer: official video "Fire & Damnation

"Fire & Damnation" is the band's first ever official video in their 27 year-long history and was entirely filmed and edited in Sao Paulo, Brazil, during Exumer's South American Damnation tour in early 2012. The director for the video was Rodney Christófaro. "Fire & Damnation" appears at the latest album with the same title released April 10th in North America, April 6th in Europe via Metal Blade Records.

Vocalist Mem V. Stein comments: "The idea behind the clip was to showcase the band's intense relationship with our Brazilian fans in a live situation and the disparities that are still present in one of the fastest growing economies in the world. We chose the song "Fire & Damnation" because its vibe is quite universal, where you don't have look to religion or elsewhere to find damnation here on earth. Ultimately, the clip is a "thank you" to all our fans in South America and around the world as we always try to relate to them in an honest and very real way."

PANIKK finished the recording of the upcoming album!

The Slovenian Bay area thrash metal maniacs Panikk just finished the recording of their upcoming album which is scheduled to be released in early 2013 on Metal Tank Records under the name of Unbearable Conditions.

The band comment: "We finally finished the recording of Unbearable Conditions. The overall recording went smoothly, in fast mood and with no dramatic issues. We already heard the very final result and the entire crew is both excited and thrilled about what months of recording gave birth to: a lethal dose of fast, old school and untamed thrash metal. We are pretty sure that all of you enjoying tunes from legendary acts such as VIO-LENCE, EVILDEAD, SEPULTURA, DEMOLITION HAMMER, FORCED ENTRY and ACID REIGN will dig our latest effort at 100%."

Below you can preview "Panic Attack", the first single taken from the album.

Cryptopsy is like a fine bottle of Porto, the taste is more complex and the flavor richer as the time passes

Cryptopsy the extreme metal band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada during the past twenty years released six studio albums, a live album and an EP. This elder metal monster with vast experience and knowledge bring to us a self-release, solid, complex, technical vicious and furious death metal album full of ability with different passages, almost in the category of progressive, with some jazz/alternative lines and other styles and techniques that make this yet to release album “Cryptopsy” one of the most complex and heaviest tech-death metal work of the year without doubt. We are absorbed by this magnificent death metal album, with a powerful sound since the beginning of the album and a perfect execution of combining death with many others styles, the creativity of these experts is explored in a higher level. Musics such as “Two-Pound Torch”, “Red-Skinned Scapegoat” and “Amputated Enigma” are brilliant, heavy, with an alternative and complicated progression… with a new touch of innovation and due to experience, nerve and perfectionism I can only say that this album deserves (8.5/10).

Back to their roots and brutal as never Cryptopsy is like a fine bottle of Porto, the taste is more complex and the flavor richer as the time passes.
